What you say is true, but no need to be bitter. I'm trying as hard as possible to fool myself into thinking this isn't the end of my world (note all the cheesy smilies

Alright so, hows this. When my all-seasons wear out, I'll replace them with a tire for the respective season (and then alternate between summer and snow tires). I'll read up on understeer too

some good all season tires will serve your winter purposes just fine.
as for the understeer, like i said before, braking into a turn on snow will increase understeer, just slow down, come off the brake and then turn in, you will notice it handles much better :goodjob:

I doubt you damaged anything. It looks like you went into the ditch at a low speed so I'm sure your whole car is straight.
