Anyone use DVDXCopy Xpress 3.2.1? (problem inside)
My gf bought me a 16x Pioneer +/- RW Dual Layer DVD Burner for Christmas along with 2 50pack Sony +R blank DVD's and I've been attempting to burn (backup) copies of some movies I have but haven't had much luck. The program is very straight forward and simple to use but after the disc is copied, it will not play in my computer or my DVD player. I don't receive any errors and it tells me it was created successfully. Is it the media I'm burning it to? I read a little online thru various forums but there are a million variables it seems like. My next guess will be to try using -R or +-RW discs.

I saw that a lot of people with my problem would record the image to their harddrive with DVDXCopy and burn with Nero as well. Is there a particular version you would recommend? I believe I have Nero for CD Burning, would I use that?

Second, what speed/ model # are your sony +r's?
Third, you could use your nero as long as it can write dvd files.

No.
Sony +R 1-4x (I know, but I got them for cheap and realize I am not maximizing the performance of my Pioneer 16x burner)
See above reply to Nightshades quote.

Gotcha.
