As you all know I know nothing about computers. I went into the computer shop today to buy the parts for my computer and the associate that helped me turned out to be a dud.

I picked up the right Shuttle (looks lovely) computer, but he gave me an old AMD cpu while the board can only take the AMD 64+ ones. So I can't use the new computer until boxing day. He also gave me the wrong ram...I asked for OCZ dual channel kit for 1 gig, but he gave me the 'value' line so it's not dual channel.

Basically everything went wrong....and no stores are open.

double check with OCZ.... OCZ has several versions of "dual channel" and they do also have a 'value' line that has some dual channel versions.

 

BAH, that sucks man.

 

You guys don't have that? Good thing the Chinese stores are open on xmas, I love fobs.
