Default %#$@&#%#*!!!!

Yeah so I was having trouble locating the parallel cables for my new printer because all the ones I had were packed away.

Well I found a stack of them today while going through a couple boxes

Don't it figure:doh:

Its more dependable than USB when sending large files to a printer unless you are using a network based printer

Ahhhh....nice to learn something new everyday n' shit. On top of that, I wouldn't mind my printer to use parallel because it's placed where there's not much slack on the usb cord...and it's a bitch to reconnect

Yeah I print multi meg image files and its a bit bulky for USB and I would rather not take a chance on burst rate cables. Since Parallel tends to flow quickly it drops it right into the buffer then there is no risk of losing the info halfway through a print job. It wouldn't be so bad except the paper being printed on is a bit expensive and the ink isn't too cheap either so every file printed right the forst time saves on final cost.
