Default crap! my bindings finally died today :(

Its been a long time coming. I've been abusing these bindings for about 6 hard years and they finally catastrophically failed me this morning. Luckily it was while I was ratcheting in rather than when I was riding.

Anyway, I'm going to go shopping for a new pair. I'm looking at flows... either the amp 5-FR, the pro 11-FR or the pro S-FR. I'm not really quite sure whether I should be leaning towards flexibility or supportiveness since my riding is so varied. No matter what I end up with, it'll be about a gajillion times better than my old bindings.

If only they had lasted another 5 mo.... I really can't afford this crap

yeah, I messed around with josh's last month and they seemed very direct and controlled. Comfy too... I have a problem of over-tightening my straps and squashing my feet, so I think flows will help with that too.

what model flows do you guys have?

Looking at the flow site, the Pro-S FR seems to be the right binding for me, but its not available anywhere. The FL55 is available here in town, but I can't find any info on it. :happysad:

Seriously though, I'm through with the standard strap-in. And if I WERE to go with a strap-in, it'd be the newer burtons with the toe restraint thingy.
