Default Got my first ride in a muscle car.....

196something 350 chevelle with I beileve a 393 motor. It was a beast. First time ever riding in a old school muscle car. Man It just makes me want to sell my subbie and buy a old car like that and fix it up. Whats funny was a ricer pulled up and reved and by the end of 1st he was already raped. He did the rev drive by. h: . But just how he would floor it and no traction and BAM it would grip and throw you back.

Heres a vide of a mustang as I was searchin the net.

muscle cars rule.

a good friend of mine has a 79 mustang fastback, thing has some serious balls. he's never run it at the track but he yanked on my iroc and put about a bus on me......on a closed course of course. lol :rick:

i'm guessing the car will pull mid 12's or better.

I'd take an old cobra instead.

Ahh.
I remeber my first ride in a true muscle car. I was seven years old, and it was my uncles 1970 Stingray with the 454. It had a removable hard top with side pipes, and it was just waaayyyy tooo loud. I was scared out of my damn mind, but I couldn't wait to do it again every time I visited.

My best friend has 1970 Cutlasses, A 350 convertible and a 455 SX. The SX is a W30, with that very hood you show in the picture, it needs bigger stickier tires, but it is incredibly clean. He has rejected offers of $20K at car shows, it placed at Autorama in its class last year.

I'd take either a Hemi Roadrunner or 440/six pack Roadrunner anyday.

I've worked on a few muscle cars, but never got to ride in one or drive one.
