some people actually think that widescreen is a version of fullscreen where they cut off big sections of the top and bottom and replace them with black bars... ****ing idiots.

YES! That's happened to me once or twice. I gave them away and bought the widescreen ones. Everytime it happens I curse the general public for their foolscreen demands.
It happened to my dad a few times, he always returns them and gets widescreen.
That's my motto. h: you have no idea how often I say that.

 

Fullscreen is crap. I remember trying to return a movie I accidently bought in fullscreen and the guy kept asking me if I had copied the movie or something. I just showed him the unopened package and asked if he knew a way to rip a movie without opening the case because we could make a fortune on it. He reluctantly swapped me movies.

 

Why'd he give you crap about returning an unopened movie?
It's not like he just can't put it back on the shelf and give you store credit or an even exchange.

i've seen both n i prefer the widescreen so much more ..

 

eh, doesnt really matter to me, i have a portable dvd player with the 7" widescreen but i can change it.

 

I'm jealous.
