Well for those who don't know I run two TaeKwon-Do Schools. Usually teaching 3 classes a night. Well last night I had my TaeKwon-Do for Tots - ages 3-5 year olds.

These classes have been going pretty well with 10-15 kids per session. But for the past 3 or so months I have this brother and sister who have not been listening every class. I feel like a broken record "John stop talking", "John stop talking", "John stop talking" or "Ella stop talking and sit still", "Ella stop talking and sit still", "Ella stop talking and sit still".....

So last night I said ok everytime someone talks we do 10 push-ups. John kept saying "I'm not talking" about 5 times, which is talking buddy

We got up to 200 push-ups. All the kids thought I was kidding until we started doing them. We did 100 for the 1st part of class. Then the kids who were good started asking why they had to do it. I mentioned because everyone is a team and we work together.

But then I thought about it and there had to be a reward system in place. So I let them sit out the next 100 push-ups. That was just the 1st class. My kids class and adult class we did 50 more push-ups in each class for a total of 300 for me

I'll tell you what, I woke up this morning and my arms were burning like someone was sticking needles in the back of my triceps... Couldn't even pick up my daughter today

When I'm in pain for some reason I smile more. I like PAIN!

 

Actually no we're not. I learned how to walk on water last week, and break 20 boards with my finger
