so today...
my gf got smashed from behind.
she didnt call the police
i guess not a lot of visible damage to her car, just a couple little gouges from where dudes license plate bolts hit her bumper.
but the hit was hard enough to propell her forward in her seat (while she was wearing her seat belt)
her neck and back are stiff but she doesnt want to go to the trouble of going to a doctor
im campaigning hard against that one.
and of course she got the song and dance from this asshole "your car is fine, you're okay" and "take it to my guy, he is the best in town for body work"
on the bright side, she did get his name, addy, phone number and insurance info.
and on another bright side, she didnt get her new car yet so...

Let us just hope that she doesn't feel any worse after a while then.
I don't know that much about these things but I think I've heard it can start hurting later on.
On the other bright side I'm sure it would be considered his fault.

yeah its 100% his fault.
i told her to call her insurance agent and get them on the project.
i also told her she will have to file a police report.
and i told her she needs to go to the doctor because what is only a little soreness today will be stiffness tomorrow and for the rest of her life. i dont think she is convinced.
