just went to wendy's, sitting waiting for my food, i smell something. look down and my temp guage is all the way on hot.

turned the car off and let it cool down, then drove back to work.

that happened to me before. i almost shat myself i was so scared.

 

yeah i did. what you think it is? water pump? i didn't see any coolant leaking.

i just checked all my fluids 2 days ago when i changed the oil. this car is really starting to piss me off.

on another note, anyone know why i could be getting such shitty gas mileage? i get like 300 miles to a full tank, and that's mostly highway.

i used to get about 400 or so....

 

A friend of mine told me that gas stations add ethanoyl (sp) to their gas to keep it from freezing in cold weather, but as a side effect it burns off quicker. Im not sure if theres any truth to this though.
