Default Lotr: Rotk

Ok, so I'm an LOTR fan. Yay.

I have the LOTR: FOTR and LOTR: TTT both in Extended Edition.

This new LOTR: ROTK is being advertised as Special Extended Version. Then there's also the Trilogy 3 pack of the standard version and the special version. Then there's the LOTR: ROTK widescreen special version.

I'm all confused, I"m sure they want me to be also. So, is the Special Extended Version the same as what they used to call the Extended Edition? Just a new name? Or is it a diffrent version?

:loco:

oh hell no! they make it great b/c 1. its on two seperate discs and 2. they put little markers to indicate new or extended scenes.

reading the books takes even more time h: so watching a four hour movie on it doesn't bother me.

I rented the 3rd movie...I watched it for about 20 minutes and then turned it off. Extreeeeemely boring.
