Damn that sucks...I have never sprained an ankle snowboarding before

I remember when I got my 169 ElDorado I straight lined a freshly groomed and heavily packed run. We figured I was topping off at nearly 50mph or so when I hit the bump that threw meh: I ended up dislocating my shoulder but didn't realize it until I was almost down to the lift.

Ahhhh...good times

Do you have click in bindings? With ordinary bindings I would think it'd be kinda hard to sprain your ankle. Oh well, sorry to hear

they were normal strap bindings. i was just going so fast that when i hit a bump, my board did a nose dive and if you could imagine the board coming to a complete stop but my body just kept going. i did a few cartwheels.

this is the first time ive ever gotten a swollen ankle and it hurts so much :wtc:

Where exactly does it hurt, you potentially could have broken it. I happen to be a foot doctor in Sacramento. Try hitting the Goodwill store if you want to save some $$ on crutches

It's easy to do with either kind of bindings. I miss snowboarding
