you're tellin me that you can pull more power out of a 2 liter than you could from a 2.5 in the long run? i don think so.

Uh oh now we're going to get into a worthless theoretical EJ20 vs. EJ25 debate. This is going to be about as good as the SR20 vs. KA24 threads on 240 forums.

the only reason subaru went with a 2.5 liter is that was the only way to get reliable/decent power on shitty US gas. The JDM v.7 and v.8 STi motors have just as much power potential with stock internals.

All I'm saying is that his "the only worthwhile subarus are ej25's" comment doesn't cut it. That motor has its merits, as do the 2 liter ones. Hell I even know some people making 300+ whp on BC/BF ej22's

we are in america, so we must use shitty us gas, of course you can use race gas, but in america the ej25 is the only good STi engine
