helllo sorry for all the questions but i might be getting a new car...
i am lookingat buying a car wit ab16a2...buti cant feel or hear the v-tek..n the rev limiter kicks in around 6500 rpm....what could it be..n do u think its something major..how muh should it cost

what's wrong with ur car right now? and u mean vtec (emphasis on the spelling or people will jump down ur throat) i say keep ur car and get the new engine if u want don't downgrade to someone elses project

Make sure it's really a B16. If it is, check to see if the CEL is on. If the CEL is not on, make sure it has the correct ECU which controls VTEC and rev limiter.

i have a bone stock gs-r, to tell you the truth, i don't even hear or feel vtec or even the secondary butterfly valves opening. All i know is that once its above 4400, it screams vroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom
