If you are able to find one, it's doubtful they'll be selling it for $150. A lot of retailers seem to sell it as a "bundle" where you have to buy another controller, memory card and a game (at least from what I found).

the slim ones are nasty, but why not get the girl a gamecube, i'm sure she'd like it just as much (just make sure she'll like it before buying it.. i cant emphasize that enough) and they are cheaper... plus you'll find more kid-friendly games for it she willl ike i think in my opinion

It would seem the younger kids would like the gamecube, but she keeps saying she wants the ps2.
