The "kid's" table at family events
Ok so I'm wondering who else has a sort of "kids" table at their family Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. I'm just wondering when u graduate to the adult table........I'm 21, in a pretty good paying career, live on my own and pay for all my own stuff.........yet I still sit at the same table as my much younger cousins
Not that its a bad thing, just kind of wondering when you graduate

we have a kids table.
pretty much when a spot at the adults table opens up, then you may move up.
so some holidays im still stuck at the kids table but others, when fewer family members make it out, i get to sit with the grown ups
edit: im 23 and i have cousins in their late 20's that still get stuck at kids table.

My family has a kids table. My cousin, who is married and is 31, still sits there. Not because of choice either, I believe. Well she'd rather talk to us than the older folk because we're cool.

Damnit! Looks like I'm stuck at the kid's table for awhile
However I've noticed that the girls in the family move up quicker, my sister who is a year younger than me sits at the adult table!!!!
I think maybe the tables are divided more by generation than actually adult hood.........hmmmmmmmm, maybe this year I will request a seat at the adult table!
e30, thanks for the compliment
I try to be a baller
I live comfortably thats for sure, but I wouldn't call myself a baller. As far as career I work for a mortgage broker company. If you are looking to buy a home or do anything with your home, you should contact me

Thanks man, although I did buy both cars myself it wouldn't have been possible without my parents. I worked at a law firm doing bitch work through my senior year of HS and college, so I made pretty good money and since my parents paid for my tuition and what not, I got to buy the supra. Also, I just remembered that my mom got me the job because she was friends with the director of the company. I guess the answer is yes and no on whether or not I paid for the cars myself.
