the people back in China believe that Falun Gong is a cult. what was started as a spiritual way of living such as Tai Chi turned into an influential group.
the people of Falun Gong believed that all of China should be living this way and the Chinese government wasn't too happy of it. Falun Gong started to press people into believing their ways and we can only imagine what the communist government has to say about that. Hence, we have another genocide on our hands.
alot of the Chinese people I spoke to about this in the US don't think too highly of Falun Gong.
I'm still trying to learn more about it myself. I'm not convinced if this is a cult or if the Chinese government is doing what they do best.

by the way, this is a book about different people living in Queens, NY being interviewed about why they are in the US.
one example of the story about the women who practice Falun Gong was one who lived above a kitchen - it would get real hot in her room. she practiced Falun Gong and the room began to cool down. even the owner of the restaurant said it was unnaturally cool in there.
