So who here had their office party yet? Mine was Friday and unfortunately i got hammered! I remember telling myself i shouldn't get drunk... Well that didn't happened. And now monday ppl come up to me and laugh! they obviously don't laugh at me but more at my behavior still i don't like it. And i ended up leaving with a girl that i work with, but i was too drunk to do anything and i don't quite remembered what happened with her in the cab so now i am to ashamed to talk to her... Dammit drinking>me! I think this is the last X-mas party I am going to.

 

We have ours this Sunday.

 

Our headquarters are throwing office parties all week this week and all week next week starting tomorrow

It's exciting.

 

I'm not sure I'll be invited. my contract expires on the 10th of this month.

of course it was supposed to expire on the 11th of last month h:

 

OUr x-mas party is on a fricken Monday!!!!! Theres no way im going to socialize with these exec's on a monday to get drunk and come into work the following day......

This yr = no x-mas party.

 

we usually have a catered lunch, so no alcohol :sad:

 

we're having ours on a tuesday...why do they have them on a weekeday?

 

Whoa your office parties suck! mine was on the week-end and open bar! I was wondering why they would do it open bar... obviously Idiots like me will get drunk.

 

Ours sucks ass. They have this stupid cheesy party in the cafeteria on the 16th (a thursday) during the afternoon. There of course is no drinking. It always sucks ass.

I remember the holiday parties at my old job. We would have them either at bar/restaurant and they would be on a Friday afternoon at 12pm. We would get that 1/2 day off and we would all get trashed due to free beer. The parties always rocked. . . . Except for one year where I was so hung over from the night before I puked as I got out of the car heading to the party :sad:

 

If they have them during the week its cheaper.
Not alot of people party/ drink during the week ( except us HAN members...lol )
so the rental price is far cheaper compared to weekends.

We have ours at the CopaCabana Club in the City.
