Rick, I see that I can get the Dell SC1420 (xenon 3.ghz/800mhz/2MB cach) wth 160GB sata for 550 shipped. You think that I should do it?
Will it suffice as multimedia PC? (video editing, gamming, movies back up, DVD encoding, etc.) ????
I might throw in another Xenon processor later.

Xeon and yes it will work fine provided you upgrade the ram to 2GB or more. However keep in mind the 1420 are noisy.
