a little help
i dont know if what i tried to post today got posted or not, my computer flipped out on me and i had to reformat my c: drive. anyways what i tried to post this morning was this-
I cant seem to figure out the dynamics of how you can have a faster timed 1/4 car at a lower speed over a car with a higher speed at the end of the 1/4 mile. for example using nice rounded numbers:
Car1= 10 seconds at 100 mph in 1/4 mile
Car2= 11 seconds at 110 mph in 1/4 mile
ive seen a lot of races/time slips with numbers that are like that, not specifically the numbers themselves but faster time at a slower speed and i have yet to figure that one out, can anyone explain?

Have you ever seen a bug drag race? They run great times, because they get up to speed very quickly, coming off the line like Bill Clinton after a 17 year old. The way they are geared, they reach top speed prior to the end of the 1320, and are no longer accelerating.
