Default steroids

barry bonds
jason giambi
marion jones

Personally, i thinks its disgusting how these atheletes choose to cheat instead of working hard for it. These atheletes a role models for millions of americans and now they are just phonies. I used to respect Barry Bonds, I didn't believe he took steroids before what happenned today. I defended him when other people accused him and now i feel cheated. And Marion Jones, the current most decorated american olympic athelete is also just a phony. She even went out publicly to say that she didn't take steroids. Now she just looks like a big liar.

discuss.

According to Barry Bonds, he unknowingly used steroids. But I guess the main point is that he used it. I think it's neat that he hit all those home runs but now it makes me wonder how he could've played without using steroids.

It didn't help his natural talent of being able to see the pitch and make perfect contact with the ball. Nobody will know how his body would have held up at this age without it though. I personally think there are a LOT more players than these that use/used steroids, detectable or undetectable, or the human growth hormones.

I wonder if any race car drivers use steroids?

It takes incredible endurance both your heart and other body muscle to endure all the high Gs and make the perfect lap for 2+ hours.

I'm sure it didn't help his talents but overall it sure helped his physical abilities.

That'd be funny if tomorrow we see on the headlines, Michael Schumacher confesses to using steroids to help him win those F1 races.

Their bodies don't look like it, but I guess if you don't train as hard as the more mainstream sports athletes (basketball/football/baseball) then they wouldn't have the same kind of muscle growth.

Without a doubt. However, he does put in the hard work of endless training as well.

yeah their body is usually very slim but built.

for indy car drivers their heart rate is at like 60 or 70% of max during the race. which isn't unusual for other sports like running but you are also having to deal with the g forces and controling a vehilcle moving at a super fast pace plus stay ahead of everyone else trying to pass you.
