We have a Hoover Wind Tunnel and an electrolux (oh i know it was bought in 1991 because my grandfather kept track of these things).

I like the electrolux because it's a canister and it works better. But the wind tunnel works well too--no problems with it at all after a few years now. woooooooooo

i remember my mom wanting an electrolux reeeeallly bad because they were so good, and we got one, and it broke.

same thing happened with the washer and dryer we picked out. they were really expensive, but they break all the god damn time. they save water though. plus we have problems with our viking ovens.

the only things in our house that are high quality and actually work are the subzero, a dualit toaster, all clad cookware, and the dyson. i'm pretty sure everything else was just expensive shit.

The old electrolux's were GREAT. Then Eureka bought them out and shitted them up.

If you can find an older one (you can tell since they're using kind of long) then they'll last forrrrrrrrrrever.

we bought it for allergies.. it rates at the top for exhaust. However, if it were my money, i would never spend $2k on a vacuum. It is need watching it start up.. it sounds funny. Its a pain to start up/clean and since water is involved, the motor can rust. But they last forever is taken care of.
