One of my old co-worker has been laid off.
He has been with the company for 12years and was my mentor when I first started at this company.

He has been asking to be laid off for the past 2 years and he finally got his wish.

He is smiling like a silly bunny

His package is 4.5 months pay plus all his vacation hours ~ 240hrs which is another month.

Lucky bish.

 

if he can hook up another job fast, then he'll have a nice nest egg going h:

 

he wants a vacation, similar to what I had. so he wont be looking for a while. at least not january.

 

4.5 months? What a poopy company, when my dad was laid off he got a 7. h:

 

yeah every company is different. but I've heard of worse as in 0$ unless you had vacation hours that you didn't use.

he can but he has to wait x number of weeks or months because he got a lay off package.
