As far as your question goes - NFS:U2 vs. SRS ....
Every review I've heard on SRS has been negative... Shitty physics and poor car control. The visuals are apparently the game's only saving grace. Given these reviews, I've stayed away from it.
When GT4 was pushed back again, I caved in and bought NFS: U2 just before Thanksgiving.
h: To be frank, I'm very impressed... The nonlinear plotline, the open driving environment and the flexibility in tuning are all brilliant assets on an outstanding visual package.
The physics and car control are spot on - more like GT3 as opposed to NFS:U. The only downside is the rice factor carried over from it predecessor.
h:If SRS is as bad as the critics say, then there's no contest.
I'd go with NFS:U2.

S.R.S is probably cheaper but very short; I was able to beat the game in no more than ten hours and the customization is horrid compared to the NFSU series.
Both are ricey as fock games, but I would rather get NFSU2.
