Time for some holdem...
Im heading to my friend Kev's house for a little texas holdem tourney...So far we have 8 heads, with a $25 entry fee on each. The winner will take a nice little chunk of change. Any other rounders on here?
wish me luck...

friday and saturdays after my friends get done clubbing we get together and play till 7 in the morning, 5 dollar buy ins and usually the loosers rebuy up to 3-4 times so we have a pretty hefty pot at the end of the night. when im away from school i have a group of friend who play with who are pretty into it, 20 dollar buy ins and an insane amount of rebuys, could easily walk with $200-$250 in a night. they also play a 30 dollar tourney every once in a while, all 10 or so of us. and then the dance club at school sponsors a tourney every month or so, a good 150 people show up with 5 dollar buy ins, they cant give away cash rewards though so we get some decent gift certificates.
oh yes, and good luck, play conserative when your in tourneys till it comes down to only a few of you left
oh, and please raise the blinds periodically... i was in a tourney once where they didnt raise the blinds and it was stupid to even have blinds at the end. not to mention it lasted forever
