I once told someone they couldn't use their computer cause it would overload the circuit that eveyone ele's pc's is on and cause everyone with a PC to go down.

She, yes is was a woman, believed me and didn't use it for a week. She finally called the sites H/V/AC/W/P man and asked when she could use it again, he explained that I was just messin with her. She found it funny!!!

Correct!

A complete circuit needs a path. By cutting off one of the prongs you are breaking the path.

yeah, locking the machine down with a security cable, making the HDD the first in line to boot, and passwword protecting the BIOS will fix all that, duh! Thats what I've done to both the server at work, and my PC at home...
