Default Computer People, Especially Video Card ones...

First off let me give the basis as to what i have:

Crucial Radeon 9700 Pro
Chaintech VNF3-250
Athlon 64 2800+
1GB Ram

I just got the VGA Silencer Rev. 3 today. I took off the stock fan and cleaned the chip. I then applied the paste that was included with the VGA Silencer. I put it on and installed it back in. I boot up the computer and the computer makes about 3 loud beeping noises (first one long and the last two are very short) and nothing appears on the monitor. I tried reseating the 9700 Pro a few times. then i took off the VGA Silencer and reinstalled the stock fan. i'm praying that the 9700 didn't burn out or anything. I put back the VGA Silencer back on and the fan on it still works. the rest of the computer still has power to it.

Thanks in advanced!

you were liberal with the paste and not sloppy right? if it connects two prongs on the back of the chip it'll cause that. if that is the case use a toothbrush and clean it off and start over with it.

Try going to Chaintech's site and DL their manual. It should tell you what the beeps mean.
