Default Invisible Accident

So this weekend, while I was working, my parked car got hit.

I'm pretty pissed about it. The taillight is busted, there's about a 5 inch-wide dent in the rear quarter panel. Bumper is effed up, paint is scratched. Not to mention, there's paint from whatever hit it.

Statefarm gave me a couple of places to get estimates from and since it's gonna be about $800 or more to fix, I still have to pay $500.

I feel people shouldnt have to pay if they didnt cause the accident. I am a firm believer. It should go under uninsured motorist

What ticks me off is that even if it was $600 I'd STILL have to pay the $500 uninsured motorist deductable.

Grrrr...I thought insurance companies were supposed to help you out when it came to little things like this.

a lot of people would abuse that, and then our insurance rate would go higher.
