one of my friends just bought a house decently large approx. 20 mins from me. the house is new, the average price of his size house is approx. 1 mill. but thats how it is everywhere here. my house is 19 years old and got it appraised for $570,000. funny thing is that we bought it for 135,000 when it was new.
