Happens in Alaska pretty frequently. I presume the car's driver was killed. If you notice, the legs on a moose are long enough that it hits the vehicle relatively high, generally killing the occupants if they are driving freeway speeds. Imagine a 1000 lb bag of fur hitting your windshield at 70 mph, you get the idea.
