Couldn't it be argued that Anakin is the one who actually fulfilled the prophecy.
I guess the prophecy states something like the one conceived by the midi-chlorines(sp) etc.... will bring balance to the force.
So luke, being anakins son, couldn't he be considered "balance to the force" or the 'balance of the force'. Because without Anakin there would be no Luke.
So in the end, Anakin fulfills the prophecy ( like my man Qui-Gon said he would
h: ) by bringing balance to the force, aka, Luke :dunno:
