My sister just sat down at my computer and said she couldnt see anything, that it was all blury. I never took notice to it, i guess b/c im at my computer so much, i'm used it. But after she pointed it out, i notice it now.

What could cause this? I bought the computer in Feb of 03 from Gateway.

 

its probebly your monitor, i dont know chit about computers but i dont think your computer is messed up but it should be just your monitor. maybe you have some adjustments on the monitor that allow you to adjust the sharpness of the screen.

 

could be monitor, the monitor cable, the video card, or the settings on windows. first check the cables, then try increasing the refresh rate in windows.

 

Not all monitors start out as sharp, and yes they can get blurry, especially the cheap ones.

 

there should be a setting to line everything up, i just cant think of what it's called right now.

i feel like :loco: right now.

the settings on my monitor menu are contrast, brightness, H position adn size, V position and size, Tilt, Pincushion, Pin Balance, Pareallelogram, Trapezoid, Top corner, Bottom Corner, H moire, V moire, Color, Recall, Language, OSD time, Degauss, Info and exit.

I tried degauss and it didnt help. I think i tried Recall too, and it didnt help.

I went into my display settings and played around and nothing helped.

I have a headache :happysad:

my refresh rate is at 75 Hz...i can go up to 85 or 100.

 

Monitor setting = Hosed.
