I wanted to try the DS at the local BB but they hard mounted the thing to a wall about as high as a midget's ass

I played Metroid on the DS. I thought it was okay.... I think the directional pad could've been a little bigger. I don't know why it has 2 screens. I never looked at bottom screen once, although it showed the map. I'd prefer to just have one big screen like the Sony PSP.

The bottom screen isn't just for looking at, on a lot of games, it will be used to as a touchscreen to control the action.
