Default Nas - Streets Disciple

At first skim through listen, this CD is dope. Has an old school soul feel to a lot of the beats, sick flows....definitely check it out. Oh, and it's a double CD

For sure. As good as Jay is, his stuff is a lot more mainstream...I like his old stuff a lot better, and the new stuff that has signs of old Jay. Reasonable Doubt is a hip hop classic. And Nas owned his ass in the battle they had a while back :rick:

What do you use to make your beats on? It's something I've wanted to get into for a while.

When i first started out I was using Fruity Loops. Now i use fruity loops and whenever i can make it to the studio in NY i use a MPC

Isn't fruity loops just a mixing program, or can you make beats from scratch?

I am getting tired of all these Black Album remixes from Jay Z. I've heard the metalica one, grey album, kno's and now the linkin park remix. My head hurts from so much remixs :happysad:

You can make originals from fruity loops. Its hard cus you have to learn how to manipulate the sounds that come with fruity loops.

Here's 3 examples. I made this with just Fruity Loops Nothing else

I made this with Fruity Loops and a Keyboard

I made this with Fruity Loop and Acid

Those are just some of the things i do
