Taking my car to honda this morning...

guuna cost me $88 bucks to see what the hell is wrong with it, since i can't figure it out. hopefully it's something cheap. :(

a buddy of mine had a similar problem on his car (not a honda/acura) and it ended up being a bad coil. it sounds like you've checked all the electrical stuff, but i doubt it will be an expensive fix. i think you'll be surprised at how simple a problem it can turn out to be...

My car did the same thing for a little bit, it was because it was off timing

ok, honda just called me back and said, it was because of my aftermarket spark plugs. he said the valves also needed adjusted, and the engine needed "decarboned".
all this for a bargain of $353.00. :(

these spark plugs have been in the car for 3 months with no problems, and they are ngk iridiums. what do you guys think?

should i just pay the $88 bucks for the diagnostic and bring my car home, then get new plugs and see what happens?
