I keep getting that "problem connecting to tracker - connection refused, error 10061" message every time I open a torrent file. I usually use bittornado, but I also tried bittorrent, azureus, and another one and they all say the same thing, so I guess it isn't my client. I have no hardware firewall, and I tried shutting of my windows xp firewall to no avail.

Do you guys have any ideas?

 

what site you getting your tracker from?

 

try setting your ports to a differant range because some trackers don't like the default ports.

Let's just say I have 'enough sites to know that it's not the tracker's problem' .

The default range is 10,000 - 60,000 and it is set to randomize if that makes a difference. What range should I set it to?
