I had a set of PIAA fogs a few years back and I've since taking the bulbs off. I'm all wired for PIAA already. I've though about getting another set of PIAA fogs, but I was exploring the option of the pure yellow bulbs first.

The high beams are aimed too high to use in fog and the like. You're better off with fog lights.

the only time I plan on using them is on a dark back road, won't that help during nasty conditions or visibility in general on a dark road? if they won't help at all I'm going to consider a new set of PIAA fog blubs and I'll just get a set of sliverstarr high beams instead of the yellow bulbs.

Ever try to use high beams in heavy rain or fog? The reason they suck in those conditions isn't because of the bulb color, it's the fact that it's aimed high.

too bad I'm looking for a "9005" bulb for a high beam. try finding a 9005 pure yellow buld. they don't have them. Nokya and PIAA's bulbs are not as yellow as I would like to have. I looked for a long time and they just do not make yellow high beam bulbs.

could be hard to find.....

BEACUSE IT'S A STUPID IDEA
That's what fog lights are for and that's why they are BELOW your headlights. You have to get the light UNDER the fog not up it.
