And that's the easiest part. If I could just work, I can deal with the users. The way we are managed is the worst part of my job. NON-IT people should not be IT managers.

my friend works at the morgue making 8 bucks an hour sitting in front of the computer playing solitare...and playing poker with dead people....

I got alll of yallz BEAT! I work part time doing nothing at the Asian American Center at NIU for a WHOPPING.....$5.50 per hour!!!! Well what do you know! I am at work right now! Playing on HAN!

 

BUt i also gotta add that making any kinda money is great when you are a broke ass college student on a tight amount of rent/utilities/grocery money per month from mom and dad.

You'd be surprised... with the economy hit and with the overabundance of tech-trained people here in CA, I had to take a minimum wage job for 6 months just to barely pay the bills.

Minimum wage with a BA

Now I'm making 10/hr... and I was making more doing less while I was in still in school. On the other hand, I'm taking a hit on purpose right now to get experience, because I have enough qualifications that, after I prove myself at this job, I should be able to make at least $25/hr starting

............its part time, on the campus, so hours are barely nothing, and pay is barely nothing. Yayyyyy! Haha, dude i work about 10-15 hours a week yo. I dont need any more than that anways, i have so much other crap to do here at school. BOOOOO FOR SCHOOL!

 

yeah, and right now, minium wage is at the lowest it's ever been, adjusted for inflation...

(Though, minimum wage is 6.75 here in CA I think... not as bad as some other states)
