A bunch of my extended family usually gets together at one house and has a little pot-luck dinner (we actually eat at lunchtime, though).
I'm probably gonna make a dish and a dessert...haven't decided what I'm gonna fix yet, though.

Going over my friend's house in Jamestown which is about 2 hours away, but we always find the most fun in Sinclairville, on the way. It's a hick town where you can buy bird shot and campbell's soup on the same shelf!

My wife and I host Thanksgiving for our family and some friends, this year we will have about 19 people here, 3 dogs, and a cat.
Menu:
Turkey/Stuffing...of course!
Vegetarian Stuffing as well for my Sister inlaw and her daughters
Rolled and stuffed Pork Roast
Fresh Homemade Mashed Potatoes
Green Bean Cassarole

Fresh Squash (Cooked in Maple Syrup and Brown Sugar)
Fresh Fruit Salad
Fresh Waldorf Salad
Homemade Cranberry Sauce
Homemade Pies..Fresh Pumpkin, Apple

My wife and I supply the first five items and then the rest of the guests bring everything else. We also supply all the coffee that they drink with the Bailey's that my wife's 84 year old Aunt brings.

Oops forgot the rice/walnut stuffing that my wife makes

What part of NC are you going to?

Think I'm hitting up my pop's house for a little turkey n' gravy and then maybe to Ledo's Restaurant for a little Thanksgiving Mai Tai.

This weekend I'm drivng to PSU to eat dinner with Jess and Lawrence (99civic_love and LT6916).

Then on Thanksgiving day I'll eat here at my house with my mom (around 12-1) and my sister and her family. Then later on my brother will stop in after their dinner.

:yumyum: I can't wait!!!
