Why not just buy a clutch made for your car from exedy or ACT or some such company?

Seems they would have the part that fits for ya

They sell parts for jdm and transmissions specifically?
I might get one but there is an exact USDM eqivalent, I don't know if it's an Integra LS or a GS-R or something else.

JDM and USDM use the same parts there are only minor differences between the two and none have to do with the tranny :slap:

ok, but since this transmission never existed in the U.S. I just wanted to know the equivalent part. I can't walk into the Honda dealer or whatever parts store and ask him for a clutch for a '90 CRX SiR.

Ehh...yeah you can.

What car did it come out of?
What model engine and tranny is it?
What year is it?

Give the Honda dealer that info or look up the part number online. My gues is that it uses the same clutch as the USDM B16 of the same year since the bellhousing and all is the exact same.

Sometimes you need to do some searching for answers before you give up because I am sure you could come up with the numbers you need.

yeah, someone answered it in a thread for me awhile back before I did the swap, I just couldn't find it. I have the CRX SiR service manual on my computer but it only gives you part numbers for the special tools, not the actual parts. The clutch has nothing to do with whether it is a hydraulic or cable transmission?

It came out of a 90 or 91 CRX SiR

I'll check on hondaswap too.

You may want to mention it is a cable tranny but I don't think that makes any difference at all.
