h: That's above average.

I was a C average in High School. I graduated with a 2.9.

In massage school (Which is a hell of a lot harder than people think) i graduated with a 3.1

Throughout HS, i was told by numerous teachers on more than one occasion that I have the potential to be above average. I just never applied myself. I did what I had to do to get a passing grade and I was happy with that.

thats exactly what happened to my friend, he had no potential so throughout the first 2 years of highskool he got C averages, did 2 english essays and didnt do one...

towards the end of highskool, he managed 3.5GPA or higher, and is gonna apply to Berkerley

I had a 2.0 GPA in HS, doesn't mean crap. I had a 3.34 GPA in undergrad, again doesn't mean crap. The important part to me is how much knowledge I gain from a class rather than the grade. I know people with near perfect GPAs who couldn't apply their knowledge outside the box, and I know people with 2.0 GPAs who could walk circles around most Harvard and Yale graduates.

In highschool, I was a dummy. I never applied myself and was more interested in doing other things. Which is probably why I graduated under a 3.0 and scored less than 1000 on the SATs :exnbp:
