Default Instant Replay In MLB?

http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ap-gmmeetings

What do you guys think about having instant replay in the MLB? I think it's a good idea to have, especially in the playoffs when the entire season could ride on a bad call.

Yes, but not over balls or strikes.

yeah, but it kind of takes away from sports. i think it gets really old in the nfl. i used to like when the play stayed as it was called. but on the other hand....it does make it alot more fair.

should be an undecided poll option....

Its the pussification of the sport...I say no.

The Umpire is supposed to be the final say in any call and disputing it just degrades an already faultering sport.

I agree. But in ruling out/safe calls, fair/foul balls, obstruction, etc, I think it could help.

I'd have to disagree about baseball faultering. It took a HUUUUGE dive after the lockout in the early 90's, but since then its become increasingly a fan favorite...especially due to the NY/BOS match up. I know plenty of people that don't know shit about baseball that were excited about it.

Just my opinion though.

Ok I will agree with that, but to add replay to the calls demotes the value or even the necessity of the umpire being involved in base play calls.

as nice as it would be, it is indeed a pussification of the game.
