Is there any possible way that there could be a petition to change the size of the dimensions for avatars to say; 95 by 95 pixels, or 100 by 100? That way, many thumbnail versions of popular pictures or photos could be used instead of disregarded.

Learn how to resize an image....no one else seems to have any problems with it.

 

it's at 90 x 90 now, i believe, 100 x 100 wouldn't make it so that you could use any better pics. crop and resize works fine.

 

I sized my current avatar down from 3068x2400 or something like that down to the perameters given for avatars.

All you need is photoshop and a couple seconds to do the job then upload it.
