the t1-r has been out in UK for a while. people seem to like it but I'm still not sure about the soft shoulders and suitability for autox

that didn't really help.
I don't want something with no rain traction. My tires now are bad enough.
I don't mind if they get bad life, I just want to know how long, I don't have an unlimited budget.

well, for street use only I personally wouldn't choose them over the ES100s, seeing how the ES100s have better life, comfort, and wet traction. I haven't owned a set of Azenis so I can't speak from experience, but I have gone thru 2 sets of ES100s...

I chose them for strictly street use on the E30

they were much much cheaper than the es100s.

but we don't get much rain over here and comfort in a performance tire shouldn't even be a question, unless you're talking about so called all season performance tires.

No I have shitty all weathers.
I want a high performance wet/dry tire, that gets about 10,000 miles not including auto-x.
