in the market for a point n shoot digital camera..
this is the one i am looking at..

i can get it for around 300 off digitalliquidators.com
any suggestions, comments. other camera's i should consider in that price range? feedback is helpful when spending a lot of money, and i know plenty of you know about digital cameras, thankkssss

i wouldn't buy from that place. read the reviews on www.resellerratings.com .
and i'm partial to canon. the a95 and s500 rock. not sure about the prices on those.

try using www.techbargain.com 's 'find lowest price' search tool thingee. then check the rating at the above link.

i did look at the a85.
i was looking at the sony because of it's small size.
any other advantages of the canon's that i should know about?
reviews of both camera's are very good

canon Axx series uses AA batteries if you consider that an advantage. and the 80/95 have flip out LCDs, which prove pretty useful sometimes. and the canon probably has more manual controls. but it is kinda bulky since it requires 4 AA. check out the s410 and s500 too if your biggest concern is size.

yeah i did check out the a85 it's nice and all, but too big for the use i intend. i did like the s410 though, it will take some more research/hands on to decide though, and i still like the p100.
