I love the Covenant dance, the music just makes you want to kick some ass.

yes!
All three, i liked how much they explain everything and the different POV's in the second book. Very good story.
I wish the next one would come out and reveal Halo 2's story line. :happysad:

Bungie's universes were always plot driven. i suggest you look into the plot of the Marathon series for some examples of how deep and intricate their storylines are. Books that expand the mythos of this universe, to me, are natural and logical... They provide additional stories that Bungie themselves cannot produce, unless they had the entire staff of MS designing their missions.

The first soundtrack had some memorable moments, but it definately works better while playing the game, as opposed to doing some easy listening...

No thanks I will take a pass on this one.

Halo was a mediocre release game and much like CS which also was mediocre it took off like a rocket and suddenly everyone had to have it...for what reason I am not sure...but trends are like that and bandwagons roll with momentum.

Haha... yeah, I can totally understand that... simply put, the game was a day late and a dollar short. BUT, to me, the underlying game mechanics were simple and fun, and the challenge levels of single player were very enjoyable. On the other hand, I own every game Bungie made besides Minotaur and Halo. The reason I don't have Minotaur is because it's impossbile to find, and Halo wasn't convincing enough for me to buy an Xbox. Personally, as an FPS, I preferred the gameplay of Timesplitters 2 to Halo.

Halo, though, is still fun to me, and it is built upon an insanely detailed and meticilously planned universe, and to that I recognize it's merits.
