get the cigarette smell out of a car? mine is pissing the shit out of me since the previous owner was a smoker....i detailed the car and used febreeze everywhere but the smell is still there.....

any help is appreciated

 

the best i can say is open all the doors, leave it outside, febreeze it up again, and let it sit outside with the air running thru it fr a whole day , but dont let it rain...yeah, thats right..u control teh rain

 

yeah, on nice days in the summer I leave all my door open and I might run the fans for a little while. Airs out the car really well.

If you really want to get crazy get a leaf blower and blow out all the fabric.
Febreeze just covers it up.

my car really only smells if its cold / raining out, because i cant open all the windows.. even then, it only lasts for a few days. but during the summer, i would drive with all the windows down and it wouldnt smell at all..

so my advice, air it out
