you can ... but it's really not that bad. there are solderless chips out there. all you need to do is line up some springy pins, check for an led light and you're good to go.

if you've worked on a PC before, you can do your xbox

refurbished for 129? at the local EBgames they are selling brand new systems for 120

 

I think that if your going to spend close to what you would on a new system it would be better to just get the new one. Bottonline is something ain't right or the original owner wouldn't have sent it back.

 

a refurbished system means that something went wrong on that particular system,..microsoft fixed the problem and then sent it back to be put back on the shelves,..if microsoft didnt fix the problem then they wouldnt send it back and you wouldnt have refurbished systems,..it was fixed so thats why they call it refurbished
