Haha no. I dont think we had in the lab h: Look neat though.

We had this one thing, bromal thymol blue (sp), you mix it with water. And it changes color when CO2 is added to it. So we told the kids to blow in the cup full of it with a straw, and told them it was a "stinky breath" detector. h:

We did that the previous week. Except...we didn't just light it, we lit it and put it in oxygen and well, I was kind of blinded for a few seconds. And the bottle cracked.

And I also kind of got some 12M HCl on me today. argh. not a lot though, luckily.

bromal not bromide right? any thing that is bromide is carcinogenic.

12M HCl? that's nothing. my friend works with 1000M HCl it's crazy ass stuff!
