Default residential equestrian zone?

so, a developer acquired 75acres near my property.. and they want to subdivide it into 130lots, and rezone to residential equestrian for 'future residential development'

the hearing is gonna be pretty far from my house, ... what are they gonna do.. whats a residential equestrian zone.. is that for horses to live in? are they gonna line up barns or what..

whats this mean

there are lot of those zoned areas near my house. I believe it means you can have horse living on the property.

is half an acre enough for a horse to live on the property? do your neighbors have trailers and stuff in the streets?

i'm assuming a place where there might be like horse trails and stuff like that...probably not necessarily barns, but places to put the horses too. i seen places in yorba linda that has like horse crossing signs

enough for a stall, like joey said there are also horse trails.

most of the properties are several acres in size not 1/2acre. that does sound small.

ugh, public hearing proposal states:

a request to subdivide approximately 75 acres into 130 lots in the residential equestrian (r-eq) zone for future residential development)

hm, i wonder if theyre jus gonna sell 'horse houses?' i have no idea. i have 10acres somewhat close to the property
